Glitter Gal-10 to Midnight

Considering they don't make or sell the small bottles anymore, you know I got this one a while ago. Just didn't wear it until today. Well, yesterday.
10 to Midnight is a charcoal grey holo. I'm trying to think, are there other grey holos out there? Not ones that aren't quite black, but truly grey? I'm drawing a blank but anyway. When you're not underneath a light source or in the sun the polish looks like a true grey. If you like dark greys then you'll love that little part of it. The holo is pretty strong, but I expected that from a Glitter Gal polish.
non-dominant hand. how horrible is this picture? but i think the holo effect is stronger here
The polish went on thick, but wasn't anything too big to complain. I found the brush a bit more difficult to use than with Lizard Belly, but I'm going to chalk that up to the smallness of it. This took longer to dry than other holos. I didn't wear topcoat in these pictures.
I really like this! Not as much as Lizard Belly, but honestly I don't know if I'll find a holo I like more than that one. When I bought this it was a LE, but I have no idea if that's still the case. I bought this from Llarowe, but I'm pretty sure y'all knew that already.

Glitter Gal-Lizard Belly

I got Lizard Belly as an end of the semester gift. I got all A's and it was a treat to myself. And what a treat it is. I'm pretty sure this is my new favorite polish period. Not just favorite holo. It's gorgeous in the bottle, it's gorgeous on the nails. It's just gorgeous.
All photos are indoors, artificial light. It was rainy Christmas Day when I took the pics. :(
Lizard Belly is a hunter green linear holo. My pictures do not do this any justice at all. The green is dark enough that the contrast of the holo is stark (and awesome), but not so dark that you can't tell it's green. I will say that one coat does show the green a bit more. This is two coats and while you won't confuse it with black, it did get darker.
blurry close up.
The formula on this was good. Maybe a little thick, but nothing to complain about. It was easy to work with though. It flowed over the nail and there was no drag.
you can see the gorgeous holo in the bottle. and how small it is.
The drying time was a bit slower than most holos. I chalk that up to the darkness of it. I used a top coat and, as you can see, the effect wasn't dulled. Although I must say I haven't had a problem with top coats messing up the holo effect. With that said I do only use one top coat with holos-Revlon Quick Dry. Hasn't dulled yet.
another, better close up
This was my Christmas mani and I'm very OMGHAPPY!!!1!11! with it. I hope all of you had and continue to have a good holiday season.
