Julep-Leighton

I don't know if this deserves a post or not. A quick one won't hurt I guess. I don't remember which month's Maven box this was a part of, but that's how I got it. When I first saw swatches of it I was excited about it, but now? Meh. Meeeeeeeeh.

Leighton is a silver metallic silver. And that's pretty much it. The formula, while looking thick in the bottle, is actually thin. This polish is very brushstrokey and I know you guys can see it in the pictures. I did two coats here. Was pretty much average to work with. Not difficult but not amazing.

I will say it dried fast. It has that going for it. But other than that? Meh. I have a feeling there are better silvers out there for less than $14 that you can probably get at your next drugstore run. I think if you're into stamping this would make a nice base. Otherwise? Meh.

  3. Lol...at first I thought it was just me not liking silvers, but no, this color is just less than appealing.
