China Glaze-Glittering Garland

Another green this week. I've heard that this is a close substitute to the much universally loved Emerald Sparkle. I don't have ES (booo) and since this is similar I had to get it.
Glittering Garland is a green glitter based polish. It looks like it's a black base with so much green glitter you can barely tell the base. The formula on this was good. Not too thick or thin, went on the nail well. This dried really slowly though, but I'm thinking that's because of the glitter component.
Two coats was enough. It was streaky on the first coat. I really love this polish! I still wish I had Emerald Sparkle, but this is a nice replacement for it.

  2. I went gaga at holiday for this shade and picked up about 3 bottles of it! It is a good sub for the every so loved Emerald Sparkle - but if a collector of green and you CAN find Emerald Sparkle - there is room in one's stash for both shades. Also check out the new Revlon Colorstay (lasts up to 11 days) in Rainforest - it's an amazing dark sparkly green also!

    1. I'm still searching for Emerald Sparkle. Haven't really been able to find it. Will keep at it.

I will keep my eyes open for that Revlon. I'm not a big fan of Revlon polishes (minus the quick dry top coat-LOVE THAT) but sparkly and dark green? I'm sold!

      Thanks :)

    1. Get it get it! I got this on sale at Sally's right around the New Year (that's how long I've been saving this). I want to say it was $1.99. I'm sure it's discounted, you just have to find the right Sally's.

I'm going to be an enabler right now. GET IT! :)
