Can I say before I start that being a resident of the South we use the phrase of this polish all the time, but it usually has a "now" in there. I've never said it without the now. It's so ingrained in me that I call this polish Y'all Come Back Now, Ya Hear? Stupid little tangent thing. I'll move on now.
After the hell it was to get off Faye I decided to stick with a nice creme. Or in this case sorbet. OPI Y'all Come Back Ya Hear? is from their recent Spring Texas collection. It was the only one I really wanted, and when someone was having a blogsale and offering it I grabbed it quick. I've said before that I am feeling oranges lately and that hasn't changed yet.

And my, what an orange this is! I love it. I think this is more on the red side of orange and Lord does it stand out. I was out late last night and I could see this through the dark. I'm not saying it glow in the dark, just that you can definitely notice it. This color isn't for conservative environments, I'll say that.

This is three coats. Like I said above, this was one of the new sorbet finishes OPI released in that Texas collection. Does anyone know the difference between jelly and sorbet other than OPI is calling it a different name? Looks like a jelly to me. You can obviously see VNL, but I don't care all that much about that. This is three coats, and the first coat went on thin, but it build up great. Average dry time, but nothing horrible.

I love this polish so much I don't know what to do with myself. It's going to be hard to take this one off. If you hate VNL or sorbets/jellies or not an orange fan I say stay away. But if you like one of the three I say get it. It's a pretty awesome color!
I'm not a huge orange fan, but this is pretty. I'm just glad that OPI got it right with "Y'all". I'm totally OCD & can't stand to see another southerner say "ya'll". It's just NOT RIGHT. :D
ReplyDeleteLOL, when I saw the name of the polish, I was like where's the "now"?
ReplyDeleteI'm not even from the south and I know that you have to put a now in there.
Anyway, this is a gorgeous color on you.
TrailerHood Chic-I KNOW! I hate it when the apostrophe is in the wrong place too. I almost rather it not be there at all than in the wrong place.
ReplyDeleteChoasButterfly-Thanks! Good to see non-Southerners know how to say it. I wish OPI had gotten it right.
