You guys have seen this polish forever and a day since it was released late summer/early fall, so we'll make this quick. I really just wanted to get this out of my untrieds box so that's why I put this on early this week.

Facets of Fuchsia is multi-shaped pink (I have to be honest, I see purple, but they call is fuchsia, so it has to be pink, right?) glitter suspended in a black base. The base is very light and while I only did two coats I probably should have done three for full coverage. But I'm happy with two. The big hexagonal glitter was easy to work with and I didn't have to struggle to get it out of the bottle.

This went on really well. Everything was smooth and even. It also didn't eat my topcoat as well. It dried pretty fast, which I was a bit shocked by because, well it's black and glitter. Those two things don't necessarily dry all that fast.

I've been wearing this for a few days now and I only have minimal tip wear. I usually get a chip in my polish just because of my nail peeling problem. But not with this. I'm majorly impressed. I wish I hadn't waited so long to wear this. Very gorgeous and if you don't want to pay the $18 for the Deborah Lippman polish this is based on (let's not pretend it's not okay) then I highly recommend this substitute. Especially when your favorite local drugstore is running a sale on Revlons. Great polish to have.
I love this shade! I used it over a dark purple base shade as a pedicure at it looked amazing AND lasted forever. I'm hooked!
ReplyDeleteA dark purple base?! I'm going to have to try that one day. That sounds pretty damn awesome!
